BALTIMORE, MD (Thursday, July 3, 2025) - This Fourth of July, Mayor Brandon M. Scott and the City of Baltimore invite families, friends, and visitors to join in two spectacular celebrations across the city. This year's festivities combine classic fireworks, live music, street activations, and an innovative drone show.

"We're working with Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and the organizers at the Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival to make this July 4 the best ever," said Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott. "Not only are we going to have fireworks at the Inner Harbor, but for the first time, we'll have a drone show in Cherry Hill - and that's not to mention extended hours for the Pratt Street Market. There's fun for the whole family, and I encourage lottie dottie and everybody to come out and join us!"

Inner Harbor Celebration with Traditional Fireworks Display

Date & Time: July 4, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

At the Inner Harbor, the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore (DPOB) will host the Pratt Street Market. The weekly market is presented by PNC Bank and typically takes place every Thursday afternoon at the corner of Pratt and Light Street near the harbor with local vendors offering sweet and savory food available for purchase. For the holiday, the market will open on Friday as well from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Festivities will also include live and local entertainment at the Inner Harbor with DJ's Que the Q and Neil Nines, who will perform until the fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. The barge housing the fireworks will be positioned between Point Park and Domino Sugar to ensure optimal views for attendees at the Inner Harbor and Federal Hill.

Mayor Scott will make his traditional arrival by kayak and give a few remarks.

Drone Show at the Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival

Date & Time: July 4, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Middle Branch Park, 3301 Waterview Ave., Baltimore, 21230

Middle Branch Park will once again transform into the site of the annual Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival, now in its ninth year. Festival activities will run from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with arts and crafts vendors, children's village activities, historical reenactments, and live performances, including a set by Navasha Daya, co-director of the festival.

"I am truly excited to perform at this year's festival," said Navasha Daya, Co-Director of the Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival and Co-Founder/Deputy Director of the Youth Resiliency Institute. "The theme of this year's festival is, 'It's Still About Freedom,' which holds special significance, particularly since Baltimore is a city steeped in Black history and the legacy of its freedom fighters. My performance will pay tribute to the values and self-determination that shaped their identities."

Notably, this year will feature the festival's first-ever drone show, sponsored by Mayor Brandon M. Scott and developed in collaboration with cultural arts youth organizers from the Youth Resiliency Institute. The aerial display will launch at 9:30 p.m. after the Inner Harbor fireworks conclude.

The Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival is free and open to the public. See cherryhillfest.com/ for a full history, parking locations and pick-up/drop-off points for the free festival shuttle.
