BALTIMORE, MD. (Friday, December 23, 2022) - Mayor Brandon M. Scott has announced that the City will activate warming centers across Baltimore in response to extreme weather conditions. 

Due to severe cold, the City of Baltimore will open and activate 5 warming centers across the city for residents experiencing power outages.

Residents can stop by warming centers for respite from the cold weather, access charging stations and receive other supports.

Overnight Warming Center (11PM – Until 10PM Saturday night)

Towanda Recreation Center

Middle Branch Fitness and Wellness Center
