FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BALTIMORE, MD (January 8, 2021) -- Mayor Brandon M. Scott  and Nashville Mayor John Cooper announce a friendly wager on the outcome of this weekend’s NFL playoff game.

On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens have a shot at redemption against the Tennessee Titans in the fight to the 2021 Super Bowl. Last year, the Titans beat the Ravens 28-12 in a 2020 AFC Divisional Round game.

"I am looking forward to a Ravens victory against the Titans on Sunday," said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. "I hope that this friendly wager will bring some much needed lighthearted energy to both cities as we all continue to navigate these difficult times."

Mayor Cooper's wager consists of baked goods from D'Andrews Bakery, hot sauce and merchandise from 400 Degrees Hot Chicken, an assortment of products from Batch Nashville, a t-shirt from Swett's Restaurant, and a postcard from Hatch Show Print

On behalf of Baltimore, Mayor Scott has wagered Koco’s Pub Crab Cakes, Berger Bakery’s famous Berger Cookies, merchandise from Made in BMore Clothing, and hand sanitizer from Mount Royal Soap Co.

The Baltimore Ravens (11-5) will play at the Tennessee Titans (11-5) on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 1:05PM.
